*Seat needs to be cut after guide replacement to maintain concentricity

Seat replacement each, bare head, $120 1st $60 each additional.
Note: Guides must be in good or new condition to hold perfect concentricity for both the seat counter-bore and seat face profile.

Seat blending into port runners (a form of porting were it is most critical for flow)
This smooth’s out the casting flaws and mismatch between the seat, seat counter bore and port runner out to the guide. $65 when done with any of the above services.

Porting: Modern MX heads are basically ported for maximum flow from low to high RPM. This meets the demands for good throttle response and a wide power band. If you’re into full throttle sand drags or road racing you may benefit from larger and reshaped ports. Porting is a big money maker for many tuners and is an easy sell from the left over nostalgia from huge HP increases it had on crude automotive and ancient 2 stroke engines. I still offer porting, actually smoothing and polishing for those that want and need every advantage on the track. $250 per MX head.
