General Head Service (GHS)

General Head Service is the foundation of our cylinder head repair work. Each head is cleaned, inspected, machined as needed, assembled, and vacuum tested to verify proper sealing.

DRZ400 / LTZ400 / KLR400 OE Valve Package

OE-style rebuild package for 400cc models. For highly modified builds, Fastheads may recommend the Kibblewhite package instead.

KX250F note: Some KX250F models, especially EFI units, are known for intake seat issues. Fastheads can install Beryllium Copper A25 intake seats as an upgrade when done with service. Hardened, thicker-wall intake lifter buckets may also be available.

KTM uses high-quality titanium valves in many heads, manufactured by Del West. Some XC and larger models use a combination of titanium and stainless, or all stainless components. Pricing and parts availability can vary by model.

What To Send With Your Head

For the most accurate inspection and estimate, send the complete head whenever possible. Include cams, cam caps, bolts, rockers, valve train parts, and any related components.

Packing Notes:

  • Protect the gasket surface.
  • Bag small parts so they are not loose in the box.
  • Pack the head tightly.
  • Include your service request details in the package.
